AZO’s dual external speaker allows metal detectorists to enjoy crisp, clear sound without having to use traditional headphones. These speakers are especially popular during the warmer summer months when headphones tend to get hot and sweaty. The speaker also allows the operator to hear what is going on around them; especially nice when detecting in rattlesnake or bear country. The advantage of the dual system is that it provides a ‘surround sound’ effect, ensuring that the operator can hear their detector regardless of which way their head is turned. They offer exceptional sound clarity and are extremely portable. Each speaker is fitted with a metal clip on the back which allows them to be mounted just about anywhere. They come with a superior quality Amphenol right-angle 1/4″ stereo jack. These speakers weigh only 4.5-ounces each and measure approximately 3″ x 2.5″ x 1″. Compatible with all metal detectors, however some models may require the use of an audio amplifier.
