Description
The Minelab Manticore M8 8 X 5.5-inch Double-D Searchcoil is the supreme choice for target separation in high trash environments.
While maintaining excellent depth and better sensitivity to small targets, the M8 coil excels in difficult terrain.
The M8 coil is perfect for getting into tight spots in bedrock, or in-between bushes at an old overgrown homesite.
The M8 Manticore coil weighs .88lbs (400grams) and is waterproof up to 16-feet (5m).
With the M8 coil attached the Manticore weighs 2.64lbs (1.2kg)

The M8 is exactly what a night shooter needs in a coil. It’s small enough to get into the tight nooks and the elliptical shape makes working between rocks so much easier. It’s sensitive on small gold and has pretty good depth on larger pieces. Now it does not stop there as a coin shooter this this screams on coins and can work trashy areas very well. Since the manticore has such a fast processor this M8 coil really pinpoints good from bad targets. They are hard to get at the time of writing this review and Rob has them in stock so grabbing quickly you won’t be disappointed adding this to your arsenal!
