Snake Guardz™ are the original ultra light weight snake gaiter, with metatarsal protection, featuring a unique design which allows air circulation between the leg of the wearer and the Snake Guardz™. Manufactured in Nylon, Polyester, Cotton and Whisper Quiet Amerisuede™, all with DWR water repellent coatings. Stocking sizes fit from a 4-year old child to a 500 pound person. Weight is only 11 ounces each and are puncture resistant tested to ASTM 1342-05 standards and will stop a 12-gauge shotgun blast at 20 yards! They also over a unique toe cover which covers the laces of a shoe or boot eliminating the chance of snake fangs to become entangled in shoe laces when struck.
All models comes in “Mossy Oak” camouflage (pictured). If you would like another color, please contact us for details as we can get Blaze Orange, Khaki Tan, Olive Green & True Timber Mixed Pine.

- Medium: 50 – 110 lb Person – fits 9″ to 14″ circumference calves
- Large: 100-200 lb Person – fits 14″ to 18″ circumference calves
- X-Large: 180-250 lb Person – fits 18″ to 23″ circumference calves
- XX-Large: 250-350 lb Person – fits 23″ to 30″ circumference calves

Fit and comfort is good. They stay in place and do not interfere with movement. A great comfort when out metal detecting in snake country.
One idea for the manufacturer: make a model with build in knee pads. would be perfect for metal detecting:)
